Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve adaptability to a wide range of variations in heat generation and operability of an incinerator for combustible solid waste of a double-staged fluidized incineration type by separating inside of the incinerator into pyrolysis portion and burning portion. CONSTITUTION:A combustible solid waste is thrown by a feeding means 10 into fluid layer inside of the pyrolysis portion 3 of an incinerator and pyrolysized by contact with the heated catalyst. Resulting gas and tar are burned in a secondary combustion chamber 5 with air introduced through air pipes 6 and 7. On the other hand, char which mainly comprises carbon flows over the portion 17 at the upper end of partition 2 together with the heated catalyst into the burning portion 4, where the char is burned with air blown by air blower 11' for fluidized combustion purpose. In this instance, a necessary amount of fuel is supplied from auxiliary fuel pipe 13 so that the temperature inside of the incinerator is maintained at an even level. The heated catalyst is recirculated from the burning portion 4 to the pyrolysis portion 3 by a mechanism 14.
