Abstract

Arrangement for the combustion of granulated material, for example wood-dust tablets, especially an arrangement with an essentially horizontal combustion chamber as well as outlet openings for primary air and secondary air and with at least one line for the supply of fuel as well as an outlet opening for combustion gases to a boiler part for heat transmission to for example water-cooled surfaces. The combustion chamber is rotatable and equipped with outlet openings for primary air and at least one outlet opening for secondary air following the outlet opening of the combustion chamber. The secondary air is envisaged for the combustion of the combustible gases and other uncombusted residual products which have been produced in the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is also equipped with members for lifting and stirring the fuel. The members for lifting and stirring the fuel consist mainly of pipes which are rigid and run longitudinally in relation to the combustion chamber.
