Abstract
Un sistema de aire acondicionado de compresion-expansion, emplea un serpentín subenfriador colocado en el lado del aire saliente del serpentín evaporador de aire interior. Durante una operacion de enfriamiento y deshumidificacion, el líquido condensado pasa a través de dos dispositivos de restriccion de flujo en serie. Una ramificacion de la línea de líquido suministra refrigerante líquido condensado desde el condensador al serpentín subenfriador y un reductor de flujo, el cual puede ser una TXV, hacer caer la presion del líquido subenfriado antes de que el refrigerante alcance el dispositivo de expansion asociado con el serpentín evaporador. El reductor de flujo disminuye la presion del líquido, la cual permanece a una presion por arriba de la region de dos fases y el dispositivo de expansion además disminuye la presion introduciendo el refrigerante subenfriado en el evaporador como un fluido del dos fases. Una línea de desviacion o derivacion conecta el condensador directamente al dispositivo de expansion y tiene una válvula solenoide en la línea del líquido que es accionada por un humidistato. Cuando la deshumidificacion se necesita, el solenoide es cerrado y el refrigerante fluye a través del serpentín subenfriador. Cuando se satisface el humidistato, el solenoide se abre y la trayectoria del refrigerante se desvía al serpentín subenfriador. El montaje subenfriador latente elevado, puede ser instalado en la obra o retroadaptado en un acondicionador de aire existente.
