Abstract

Se describen monofilamentos con una estructura de nucleo y forro, provistos de un nucleo de poliéster o copoliéster termoplástico y de un forro que contiene un poliéster termoplástico, que están caracterizados además porque el poliéster o copoliéster del nucleo tiene un punto de fusion de 165 a 290 degree C, y con preferencia de 220 a 240 degree C y porque por lo menos el 70% molar de sus grupos estructurales se derivan de ácidos dicarboxílicos aromáticos y de dioles alifáticos, porcentaje referido a la totalidad de los grupos estructurales poliéster, y como máximo el 30% molar de los grupos estructurales ácido dicarboxílico son distintos de los grupos estructurales ácido dicarboxílico aromático que constituye la parte predominante de los grupos estructurales ácido dicarboxílico, porcentaje referido a la totalidad de los grupos estructurales poliéster, y de grupos estructurales diol que se derivan de dioles alifáticos y que son distintos de los grupos estructurales diol que forman la parte predominante de los grupos estructurales diol, y el forro es una mezcla de poliéster que consta de un poliéster termoplástico de punto de fusion entre 165 y 240 degree C, con preferencia entre 220 y 240 degree C y de un poliuretano termoplástico elastomero y eventualmente de los aditivos no poliméricos usuales; se describe además un procedimiento de fabricacion de los monofilamentos de nucleo y forro y la utilizacion de los mismos para o en la fabricacion de estructuras textiles planas provistas de una gran resistencia mecánica y química.
