Abstract

Un procedimiento para fabricar productos complejos de configuración alargada, particularmente en forma de fibras divididas, hebras, películas o cintas, constituidos por dos o más componentes polímeros sintéticos, en el cual uno de los componentes polímeros está constituido por polipropileno y forma más del 50% en peso y uno o más componentes polímeros distintos están distribuidos en el polipropileno, caracterizado por el hecho de que el producto compuesto contiene 65 a 95% en peso de polipropileno y 35 a 5% en peso de uno o más poliésteres y/o poliamidas, los cuales poliésteres están formados por unidades estructurales derivadas de uno o más ácidos dicarboxílicos, al menos el 70% en moles de los cuales es ácido tereftálico y por unidades estructurales derivadas de uno o más dialcoholes, al menos el 70% en moles de los cuales es un dialcohol que tiene la fórmula HO(CH2)n)OH, donde n es un número entero y puede ser 2, 4 ó 6, y las cuales poliamidas están formadas por policondensación de caprolactama o ácido adípico y hexametilen-1,6-diamina, que están parcialmente presentes en forma de fribillas, y por el hecho de que la resistencia a la tracción Y del producto compuesto orientado es al menos igual a Y=1,10 X, donde X es la resistencia a la tracción de un producto correspondiente de forma alargada que es un producto constituido prácticamente por 100% de polipropileno que tiene un índice de fluidez de 3 y está fabricado de la misma manera que el producto compuesto de forma alargada, siendo X mayor que o igual a 45 cN/tex en el caso de que el producto esté formado por fibras divididas, y siendo X mayor que o igual a 35 cN/tex para productos en forma de cinta o de película, es decir, en el cado de que el producto no esté formado por fibras divididas, siendo el valor de X mayor que o igual a 50 cN/tex para productos en forma de hebra tales como monofilamentos procedimiento en el que el producto compuesto extruido se estira caracterizado porque la operación de estirado se lleva a celo en dos etapas.
