Abstract
Un vidriado de cerámica exento de plomo, que comprende, en peso: (i) entre aproximadamente 27 y 35% de SiO2; (ii) entre aproximadamente 9 y 15% de Al2O3; (iii) entre aproximadamente 26 y 34% de B2O3; (iv) entre aproximadamente 4 y 9% de BaO; (v) hasta aproximadamente 2.5% de CaO; (vi) entre aproximadamente 3 y 8 de SrO; (vii) entre aproximadamente 6 y 12% de ZnO; (viii) hasta aproximadamente 1% de K2O; (ix) entre aproximadamente 1 y 4% de Li2O; (x) entre aproximadamente 1.5 y 3% de Na2O; y (xi) el resto son impurezas menores. También se revela un substrato de cerámica revestido por rociado con la composicion anterior, y un método para elaborar un vidriado exento de plomo sobre un substrato de cerámica, utilizando temperaturas de horneado inferiores a la comunes y del orden de 1550 a 1650 degree F (843 a 899 degree C).
