Abstract
En un sistema de transmisión de señales digitales, un receptor (14) recibeuna señal (R(T)), donde lo ancho de banda del sistema rebasa la frecuenciade símbolos del sistema. Un circuito de muestreo y correlación (15) recibeuna señal de banda de base (y (T)), muestrea (21) la señal ocho veces (y(K/8)) por tiempo de símbolo (TS), correlaciona (23), genera unaestimación de canal (¬HF) y reduce la señal muestreada (y (K/8)) paraformar una señal observada (y (K/2)). Esta señal se filtra en un prefiltro(26), cuya salida se muestrea a la frecuencia de símbolo (27, TS/1) y laseñal obtenida (z (k)) se suministra a un igualador de canal (17) queefectúa un algoritmo viterbi con una calculación métrica no cuadrática ygenera símbolos estimados (¬SD (K)). Un filtro de estimación de canal(31) recibe una secuencia de símbolos que contiene símbolos alternos convalor cero (omega) y los símbolos estimados (¬SD (K)) y genera una señalestimada (¬y (k/2)). una señal de error (e(k/2)=y(k/2)-¬y(k/2)) se generay se emplea para adaptar (34) la estimación de canal (¬H(K/2)) y tambiénpara generar (35) factores ponderales (alfa (k/2)). Los coeficientes(¬G(K/2)) del prefiltro (26) se generan en función de la estimación decanal (¬H(k/2)) y de los factores de peso (alfa(k/2)). Los coeficientes segeneran en un filtro de cálculo métrico (39, ¬W(k)) mediante laconvulación de la estimación del canal (¬H(k/2)) con el prefiltro(¬G(k/2)) y se emplean para generar los símbolos estimados (¬SD(k)). Elcanal de transmisión, excluyendo el prefiltro (26), se estimaexplícitamente en la medida en que permite el seguimiento de cambiosrápidos de canal. El uso de los factores de peso (alfa(k/2)) permite elempleo de una estimación de canal corto. La insersión de los símbolos convalor cero (omega) simplifica la adaptación (34) de la estimación de canal(¬H(k/2)).
