Abstract

Se producen etiquetas sin revestimiento, mediante la alimentación de una cinta que tiene una cara de liberación revestida y una cara de adhesivo a un cilindro de vacío de yunque endurecido, que utiliza un rollo de alimentación de superficie circunferencial no pegajosa. Se hace girar una hoja de cuchilla en un cilindro cortador, a contacto con la cinta en el cilindro de yunque para cortar la cinta en etiquetas sin revestimiento y se aplica líquido de liberación a la hoja después de cada corte. Desde el cilindro de yunque se depositan las etiquetas en una pluralidad de cintas transportadoras separadas de una sección transversal circular con las caras adhesivas en contacto con las cintas transportadoras. Una cámara de vacío ayuda a mantener las etiquetas en las cintas transportadoras. Las caras de revestimiento de liberación de las etiquetas transportadas por las bandas transportadoras pueden calentarse y después imprimirse con tinta de fusión en caliente desde una impresora de chorro de tinta. Las etiquetas se separan de las bandas transportadoras utilizando un rodillo de desprendimiento y anillos separadores no pegajosos, y después entrando en contacto inmediatamente con una banda en movimiento u otros elementos a los cuales se van a aplicar, con la etiqueta y la banda pasando a través de rodillos de mordida para activar el adhesivo sensible a la presión.
