Abstract
Un método de asistencia a la conducción de la presente invención es un método para un vehículo autónomo que solicita a un ocupante en el vehículo principal que apruebe el paso a través de una intersección y, tras recibir la aprobación procedente del ocupante, controla el vehículo principal para pasar a través de la intersección, el método que comprende: detectar una situación en una intersección donde el vehículo principal está por llegar; determinar si o no el vehículo principal necesitará hacer una detención temporal en la intersección, con base en la situación detectada en la intersección; y si se determina que se necesitará una detención temporal, retrasar el momento para solicitar al ocupante que apruebe el paso a través de la intersección en comparación con el momento que se utilizaría si se determinara que no se necesitase una detención temporal.
