Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um método de assistência à direção da presente invenção que é um método para um veículo autônomo que solicita a um ocupante no veículo hospedeiro para aprovar a passagem através de uma interseção e, ao receber a aprovação a partir do ocupante, controla o veículo hospedeiro para passar através da interseção, o método compreendendo: detectar a situação em uma interseção onde o veículo hospedeiro está se aproximando: determinar se o veículo hospedeiro precisará ou não fazer uma parada temporária na interseção, com base na situação detectada na interseção; e se é determinado que a parada temporária será necessária, retardar o tempo para solicitar ao ocupante para aprovar a passagem através da interseção em comparação ao tempo que seria usado se foi determinado que a parada temporária não será necessária.
