Abstract

La invención se refiere a una composición que comprende un material de fibra y un aglutinante termoplástico específico. El aglutinante termoplástico comprende al menos un polímero (A) de poliuretano termoplástico; en donde dicho polímero (A) de poliuretano termoplástico comprende un producto de reacción de (i) al menos un poliol de poliéster y; (ii) al menos un poliisocianato; opcionalmente al menos un diol (iii) que es diferente del poliol (i) de poliéster está contenido. La relación molar de los grupos NCO de dicho poliisocianato (ii) a la suma de los grupos OH de dicho poliol (i) de poliéster y dicho diol (iii) que contiene opcionalmente, es menos de 1.00:1. Dicho poliol (i) de poliéster comprende (a) al menos un poliol de poliéster semi-cristalino que tiene un punto de fusión (Tm) desde 40 a 180 °C; y (b) al menos un poliol de poliéster no cristalino. Además, la presente invención se refiere a un compuesto reforzado con fibra que comprende una matriz de polímero de poliuretano termoajustable reforzada por la composición de acuerdo con la presente invención. Además, se describe un método para la fabricación del compuesto reforzado con fibra de acuerdo con la presente invención y al uso de la composición o el compuesto reforzado con fibra en vehículos ferroviarios, vehículos automotrices, vehículos aéreos, botes, vehículos espaciales, motocicletas, bicicletas, artículos deportivos, cascos, ropa funcional, zapatos, partes de construcción en puentes y edificios o aspas de turbinas para aire.
