Abstract

Un elastomero de poliuretano que representa una resistencia mejorada a la hidrolisis. El elastomero de poliuretano se prepara por reaccion de una mezcla depoliolica de un poliéster poliol a base de ácidos dicarboxílico aromático, un poliéster poliola base de ácido dicarboxílico alifático y un agenteexpansionante. La mezcla poliolica se hace reaccionar con un prepolímero terminado en isocianato. El poliéster poliol a base de ácido dicarboxílico aromáticoes el producto de reaccion de un alcohol alifático y ácido orto-ftálico y se encuentra presente en la mezcla poliolica en una cantidad de alrededor de 12 a 27%en peso basado en el peso de la mezcla poliolica. El poliéster poliol a base de ácido dicarboxílico alifático es el producto de reaccion de ácido adípico yglicoles.
