Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un medio para determinar endotoxina bacteriana a bajas concentraciones en una muestra de un anticuerpo (que se ha producido usando células bacterianas) que comprende los siguientes pasos en el siguiente orden: (i) adicionar iones magnesio a la muestra (ii) diluir la muestra, (iii) dializar la muestra que tiene un valor de pH de 5.7-8.0 contra una solución acuosa libre de endotoxina, y (iv) determinar la endotoxina bacteriana en la muestra usando una prueba de endotoxina bacteriana, particularmente el ensayo de lisado de amebocitos de Limulus.
