Abstract
En un proceso de oxicloración del tipo donde el etileno se convierte en 1,2- dicloroetano en presencia de un catalizador con soporte de cobre, la mejora comprende: el uso de un catalizador con soporte preparado mediante (i) impregnación, en la primera etapa, de un soporte de alúmina con una primera solución acuosa que incluye cobre, un metal alcalinotérreo y un metal alcalino para, de esta forma, formar un primer componente del catalizador; y (ii) impregnar, en una etapa posterior, el primer componente catalizador con una segunda solución acuosa que incluye cobre y un metal alcalinotérreo, donde la segunda solución acuosa se encuentra sustancialmente desprovisto de un metal alcalino, para formar, de esta manera, el catalizador con soporte.
