Abstract

La invención se refiere a una reducción en la cantidad de cloruro de sodio aplicado a un producto alimenticio, sin afectar adversamente el sabor del producto alimenticio. Las partículas de cloruro de sodio con un tamaño de partícula bi-modal se combinan con partículas de otra sal comestible y con un pico de distribución de tamaño de partícula que cae entre los picos bi-modales de las partículas de cloruro de sodio. De esta manera cualquier mal sabor exhibido por la otra sal comestible es enmascarado por los sabores de salado del cloruro de sodio puro iniciales y finales provisto por la composición.
