Abstract

Un aspecto de la presente invención se relaciona con un método de fabricación de un lente polarizante, el cual comprende llevar a cabo procesamiento de superficie curvada para cambiar la forma de una película polarizante en una forma de una superficie curvada, llevar a cabo tratamiento con calor por calentamiento de la película polarizante que ha sido procesada en una superficie curvada a una temperatura de calentamiento igual a o mayor de 105°C, pero menor de 150°C, ensamblar un molde superior, un molde inferior y un miembro de sello para proporcionar un molde de vaciado que tiene una cavidad dentro de la cual se coloca la película polarizante siguiendo el tratamiento de calentamiento, el molde superior y el molde inferior se colocan opuestos entre sí de manera que la película polarizante queda interpuesta en un espacio entre los mismos y el miembro de sello sella el espacio entre el molde superior y el molde inferior, vaciar una composición curable en la cavidad, curar la composición curable para proporcionar un lente polarizante dentro de la cual se coloca una película polarizante y separar el lente polarizante proporcionado de esta manera desde el molde de vaciado.
