Abstract

La invención es concerniente con un método para recubrir superficies, un recubrimiento correspondiente y el uso de objetos recubiertos de acuerdo con dicho método. De acuerdo con la invención, el problema es tratado por un método para recubrir superficies metálicas de sustratos que comprende o consiste de las etapas de: I. Proveer un sustrato con una superficie metálica limpia, II. Poner en contacto y recubrir superficies metálicas con una composición acuosa en forma de una dispersión y/o suspensión, IX. Si es aplicable, enjuagar el recubrimiento orgánico y X. secado y/u horneado del recubrimiento orgánico o XI. Si es aplicable, secado del recubrimiento orgánico y recubrimiento con una composición de recubrimiento equivalente o adicional antes del secado y/u horneado, caracterizado porque en la etapa II, el recubrimiento toma lugar con una composición acuosa en forma de una dispersión y/o suspensión, en donde por lo menos un polielectrolito aniónico, en una cantidad de 0.01 a 5.0 por ciento en peso, en relación con la masa total de la mezcla resultante, es agregada a una dispersión de polímeros que forman película y/o una suspensión de partículas inorgánicas que forman película que tiene un contenido de sólidos de 2 a 40% en peso y un tamaño de partícula promedio de 10 a 1000 nm, en donde la composición acuosa tiene un valor de pH en el intervalo de 4 a 11 y forma un recubrimiento en base a un gel ionogénico que se enlaza a los cationes liberados de la superficie metálica y dichos cationes se originan de una etapa de pretratamiento y/o del contacto en la etapa II.
