Abstract
Se describe una formulación para preparar una espuma de poliuretano o poli-isocianurato de un índice bajo a medio (de 1 a 2.5) que incluye del 20% al 60% en peso de un poliol formulado que comprende un poliol de poliéster aromático que tiene una funcionalidad mayor o igual a 2 y un número hidroxilo mayor de aproximadamente 50 mg de KOH/g; del 10% al 30% en peso de un poliol tipo Novolac; y deI 5% al 40% en peso de un poliol de poliéter iniciado por sacarosa- o sorbitol- que tiene un número hidroxilo mayor de aproximadamente 200 mg de KOH/g y una funcionalidad de por lo menos aproximadamente 4. Las espumas pueden exhibir capacidad de procesamiento mejorado, que dan como resultado, por ejemplo, la deformación o contracción reducida en los páneles emparedados, y un mejor comportamiento contra el fuego probado de acuerdo con el Estándar Alemán DIN 4102.
