Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una tira sensor de prueba de analito que tiene información codificada en la misma así como un método para formarla y conducir una prueba de analito utilizando la tira sensor de prueba. La información relacionada con un atributo de la tira o grupo/lote de tiras puede codificarse con base en los valores de resistencia pertenecientes a los aspectos eléctricos de la tira, tal como un elemento resistivo primario y un elemento resistivo secundario, el elemento resistivo secundario tiene uno de una pluralidad de estados definidos por un lugar de un conector cerrado para formar una trayectoria resistiva única para el elemento resistivo secundario que incluye una porción del elemento resistivo primario dependiendo de la ubicación del conector cerrado. Los estados pueden formarse en la tira por medio de un paso de procesamiento secundario en la fabricación de la tira en donde una pluralidad de conectores se separa dejando solamente un conector en estado cerrado.
