Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispensador para surtir una orden del paciente de múltiples productos farmacéuticos diferentes, el dispensador comprende: una disposición de almacenamiento adaptada para almacenar una pluralidad de productos farmacéuticos cada uno contenido en un envase de dosis unitaria individual, la disposición de almacenamiento comprende una primera sección y una segunda sección; un primer montaje de descarga, que tiene un solo dispositivo de descarga mecanizado para múltiples soportes diferentes de productos farmacéuticos, adaptados para obtener los seleccionados de los envases de dosis unitaria de los múltiples soportes diferentes por medio del movimiento horizontal y vertical y para mover los seleccionados de los envases de dosis unitaria de la primera sección de la disposición de almacenamiento; un segundo montaje de descarga, que tiene un dispositivo de descarga designado diferente para cada soporte de un producto farmacéutico, que mueve los seleccionados de los envases de dosis unitaria de la segunda sección de la disposición de almacenamiento; y una estación de transferencia adaptada para recibir los envases de dosis unitaria seleccionados del primer montaje de descarga y para sostener los envases de dosis unitaria seleccionados; un transportador adaptado para recibir los envases de dosis unitaria seleccionados de la estación de transferencia y el segundo montaje de descarga, una pluralidad de transportadores que se mueven entre la segunda sección y la primera sección, en donde al menos dos de la pluralidad de transportadores recibe simultáneamente de manera sustancial los envases de dosis unitaria; y en donde los envases de dosis unitaria se reciben en cada uno de los al menos dos transportadores de uno de la estación de transferencia y el segundo montaje de descarga, en donde la estación de transferencia está adaptada adicionalmente para sostener los envases de dosis unitaria seleccionados hasta que el transportador esté en registro con la estación de transferencia, en donde la primera sección almacena productos farmacéuticos que tienen una primera frecuencia de pedido que presenta un primer umbral y la segunda sección almacena los productos farmacéuticos que tienen una segunda frecuencia de pedido que presenta un segundo umbral diferente al primer umbral, en donde la primera y segunda secciones están cada una localizadas cerca del transportador, la segunda sección está separada y colocada de manera ascendente desde la primera sección y en donde el segundo umbral es mayor que el primer umbral.
