Abstract
La invención se refiere a un tornillo que tiene una cabeza, una sección de retención adyacente y una punta funcional para usarse como un tornillo de auto-conexión. La punta funcional es de mayor dureza que la de la sección de retención. El tornillo completo se hace de acero y carbón de una aleación baja endurecida. La característica especial este tornillo es que su punta funcional tiene un contenido de carbono y/o nitrógeno superior al de su sección de retención.
