Abstract
Un dispositivo de detección de objeto tridimensional caracterizado porque se monta en un vehículo que comprende un dispositivo 10 de captura de imagen que comprende una lente para formar una imagen de la parte posterior del vehículo; una unidad 33 de detección de objeto tridimensional para detectar un objeto tridimensional que se presenta en un área de detección basándose en la imagen capturada; una unidad 34 de evaluación nocturna para evaluar si ha caído o no la noche; una unidad 35 de detección de luminancia para detectar la luminancia de una pluralidad de áreas de imagen basándose en la imagen capturada; una unidad 36 de detección de pico de luminancia para detectar un pico en la luminancia de entre los picos en la luminancia que tiene un gradiente de luminancia de un valor predeterminado o más como el pico de luminancia objetivo; y un controlador 37 para suprimir la detección de un objeto tridimensional por la unidad 33 de detección de objeto tridimensional 33 cuando se ha hecho una evaluación de que la noche ha caído, basándose en el resultado de detectar el pico de luminancia objetivo detectado.
