Abstract
Se proporcionan: una cámara (10) montada en un vehículo y adaptada para capturar una imagen hacia atrás del vehículo; una unidad (33, 37) de detección de objetos tridimensionales para detectar un objeto tridimensional presente en un área (A1) de detección del lado derecho o un área (A2) de detección del lado izquierdo hacia atrás del vehículo con base en la información de imagen de la cámara (10); una unidad (34) de evaluación de objetos tridimensionales para evaluar si un objeto tridimensional detectado por la unidad (33, 37) de detección de objetos tridimensionales es otro vehículo (VX) presente en el área (A1) de detección del lado derecho o el área (A2) de detección del lado izquierdo; una unidad (38) de evaluación de área de alta luminancia para detectar una primer área (A1, A2) de detección que incluye un área de alta luminancia predeterminada dentro de las áreas (A1, A2) de detección izquierda y derecha; y un controlador (39) para suprimir la detección de otro vehículo con base en la información de imagen de la primer área (A1, A2) de detección detectada, y mantener o promover la detección de otro vehículo con base en la información de imagen de una segunda área (A1, A2) de detección distinta de la primer área (A1, A2) de detección.
