Abstract
La invención se relaciona a un dispositivo médico para suministrar un agente terapéutico a un tejido. El dispositivo médico tiene una capa sobrepuesta en la superficie exterior del dispositivo médico. La capa contiene un agente terapéutico, un antioxidante y un aditivo. En ciertas modalidades, el aditivo tiene una parte hidrofílica y una parte de afinidad al fármaco, en donde la parte de afinidad al fármaco es por lo menos una de una parte hidrofóbica, una parte que tiene una afinidad al agente terapéutico mediante enlace de hidrógeno, y una parte que tiene una afinidad al agente terapéutico mediante interacciones de van der Waals. En algunas modalidades, el aditivo es un líquido. En otras modalidades, el aditivo es por lo menos uno de un surfactante y un compuesto químico, y el compuesto químico tiene uno o más grupos hidroxilo, amino, carbonilo, carboxilo, ácido, amida o éster.
