Abstract
Se proporciona un acero inoxidable ferrítico excelente tanto en la resistencia al calor (resistencia a la oxidación, propiedad de fatiga térmica y propiedad de fatiga a alta temperatura) como en la formabilidad sin agregar elementos químicos caros tales como Mo y W, mientras que se evita una disminución en la resistencia a la oxidación causada por utilizar Cu. Específicamente, un acero inoxidable ferrítico que contiene, en % en masa, C: 0.015% o menos, Si: 0.4 a 1.0%, Mn: 1.0% o menos, P: 0.040% o menos, S: 0.010% o menos, Cr: 12% o más a menos de 16%, N: 0.015% o menos, Nb: 0.3 a 0.65%, Ti: 0.15% o menos, Mo: 0.1% o menos, W: 0.1% o menos, Cu: 1.0 a 2.5%, Al: 0.2 a 1.0%, en donde se satisface la relación Si=Al, y el resto siendo Fe e impurezas inevitables.
