Abstract

Tubería de acero inoxidable dúplex, y su uso, con excelente soldabilidad durante soldeo con gran carga calórica y excelente resistencia a la fisuración por corrosión por esfuerzos latentes en un ambiente de cloruro que contiene gases corrosivos asociados. Un acero inoxidable dúplex tiene una composición química que consta de, por masa %, de C: 0.03% o menos, Si: 0.2 a 1%, Mn; 5.0% o menos, P: 0.040% o menos, S: 0.010% o menos, Al. sol: 0.040% o menos, Ni: 4 a 8%, Cr: 20 a 28%, Mo: 0.5 a 2.0%, Cu: más que 2.0% y 4.0% o menos y N: 0.1 a 0.35%, y opcionalmente contiene uno o más de los seleccionados entre V, Ca, Mg, B y un metal de tierras raras, siendo el residual Fe e impurezas; en donde el acero inoxidable dúplex cumple con las relaciones de las siguientes fórmulas (1) y (2): 2.2Cr+7Mo+3Cu>66 (1) Cr+11Mo+10Ni<12(Cu+30N) (2) en donde los símbolos de los elementos de las fórmulas (1) y (2) representan respectivamente el contenido (unidad: masa %) de los elementos en el acero.
