Abstract

La presente especificación describe un sistema de escaneo de alta velocidad para escanear una carga llevada por vía férrea. El sistema utiliza un arreglo de sensores de rayos X bidimensional con, en una modalidad, una geometría de rayos X de haz cónico. La velocidad de pulso de la fuente de rayos X se modula basado en la velocidad de la carga móvil para permitir que una distancia viajada por la carga entre los pulsos de rayos X sea igual al ancho del detector, para una sola fuente de energía, y a la mitad del ancho del detector para una fuente de energía doble.
