Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al uso de al menos una N,N-dimetilamida como aditivo en una composición elastomérica para producir una banda de rodadura para ruedas de vehículos, en donde la N,N-dimetilamida tiene la fórmula: (ver Fórmula) en donde: R es un grupo alquilo C6-C12, y R' y R'' son metilo. Un aspecto adicional de la presente invención se refiere a un material elastomérico vulcanizado para producir una banda de rodadura para ruedas de vehículos obtenido mediante la vulcanización de una composición elastomérica que comprende (a) al menos un polímero elastomérico, (b) al menos un relleno de refuerzo seleccionado entre hidróxidos, óxidos y óxidos hidratados, sales y sales hidratadas de metales o mezclas de los mismos y (c) al menos una N,N-dimetilamida de fórmula (I). Un aspecto adicional de la presente invención se refiere a una banda de rodadura para ruedas de vehículos que comprende un material elastomérico vulcanizado, dicho material elastomérico vulcanizado se obtiene mediante la vulcanización de una composición elastomérica que comprende (a) al menos un polímero elastomérico, (b) al menos un relleno de refuerzo seleccionado entre hidróxidos, óxidos y óxidos hidratados, sales y sales hidratadas de metales o mezclas de los mismos y (c) al menos una N,N-dimetilamida de fórmula (I). El uso inventivo y la composición inventiva proporcionan materiales elastoméricos eficaces especialmente adecuados para su uso como bandas de rodadura en neumáticos de vehículos.
