Abstract
Un proceso para tratar un subproducto de fluorosulfato de amonio incluye proporcionar un subproducto de fluorosulfato de amonio que incluye principalmente fluorosulfato de amonio y cantidades menores de ácido fluorosulfónico y bis(fluorosulfonil)imida, mezclar el subproducto de fluorosulfato de amonio con agua, hacer reaccionar la mezcla del subproducto de fluorosulfato de amonio y el agua a una temperatura de reacción hidrolítica para hidrolizar el fluorosulfato de amonio, el ácido fluorosulfónico y la bis(fluorosulfonil)imida para formar bisulfato de amonio y fluoruro de hidrógeno acuoso; y separar el bisulfato de amonio del fluoruro de hidrógeno acuoso.
