Abstract
Se proporciona un método para preparar un poliuretano o politiouretano con índice de refracción alto y baja cantidad de burbujas y amarilleo. Se proporciona un método para evaluar un material de poliiso(tio)cianato aromático, tal como un diisocianato aromático, por ejemplo, diisocianato de m-xilileno. El método evalúa la transmitancia en una muestra del isocianato para determinar si el material de poliiso(tio)cianato aromático producirá burbujas o amarilleo inaceptables en una composición de polímero con índice de refracción alto o número de Abbe alto.
