Abstract

Un proceso continuo para formar un apuntalante recubierto, en donde el proceso comprende las siguientes etapas: (a) lavar partículas, (b) secar las partículas a una primera temperatura predeterminada, (c) enfriar las partículas, (d) alimentar las partículas enfriadas con una segunda temperatura predeterminada menor que la primera temperatura predeterminada a una entrada de una unidad combinada de mezcla continua y transporte, (e) alimentar una composición de recubrimiento en la unidad combinada de mezcla continua y transporte, (f) mezclar y transportar de manera simultánea las partículas y la composición de recubrimiento durante un período predeterminado de tiempo, (g) curar la composición de recubrimiento mediante transferencia de calor desde las partículas, (h) descargar las partículas recubiertas de una salida de la unidad combinada de mezcla continua y transporte, en donde el proceso no comprende una etapa de calentamiento de las partículas después del secado.
