Abstract

Se describe un método para el tratamiento de agua de proceso de un mecanismo de flotación (1). El proceso comprende las etapas de a) desaguar el sobre flujo de un circuito de flotación mineral (10) en un separador gravitacional de sólido-líquido (21) para separar un sobrenadante (212) de un sobrenadante (211) que comprende agua, partículas que contienen sílice y SiO2 soluble, partículas finas, microbios y químicos de flotación residuales; b) someter el sobrenadante (211) a limpieza por flotación, en donde al menos el 90% de las burbujas de gas de flotación tienen un tamaño de 0.2 a 250 µm, en una unidad de limpieza por flotación (23) para recoger al menos las partículas que contienen sílice, para separar al menos las partículas que contienen sílice del sobrenadante en el sobre flujo de limpieza por flotación (232), y para formar agua de proceso purificada (231) como sobre flujo de limpieza por flotación; c) eliminar el sobre flujo de limpieza por flotación (232) como residuos; y d) recircular agua de proceso purificada (231) en el circuito de flotación mineral (10). También se describe un mecanismo de tratamiento de agua de proceso (20).
