Abstract
Se describe un método de tratamiento de aguas de proceso de una planta de flotación (1). La planta de flotación (1) comprende una línea de flotación de minerales (10) y un circuito de agua de proceso (20) para el tratamiento de desbordamiento y/o subdesbordamiento de la línea de flotación. El circuito de agua de proceso comprende un separador gravitacional sólido-líquido (21) para desaguar el desbordamiento y/o el subdesbordamiento de la línea de flotación de minerales para separar el sedimento (212) del sobrenadante (211) que comprende al menos agua y partículas finas no recuperadas que comprenden material valioso; y un tanque de recuperación de agua (25) para recolectar agua de proceso (500). Según el método, antes de conducir el sobrenadante (211) del separador gravitacional sólido-líquido (21) al tanque de recuperación de agua (25), se somete a flotación de limpieza, en donde al menos el 90% de las burbujas de gas de flotación tienen un tamaño de 0.2 a 250 µm, en una unidad de flotación de limpieza (23). También se describen una mecanismo para tratar las aguas de proceso de una planta de flotación y su uso.
