Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a métodos para deshidratar relaves y sistemas para realizar esto. En ciertos aspectos, la invención se refiere a métodos para producir un residuo de relaves deshidratado o un residuo de relaves apilable, que comprende someter los relaves a separación hidrociclónica para producir uno o más subdesbordamientos parcialmente deshidratados y un desbordamiento final rico en agua; separar el desbordamiento final rico en agua, por centrifugación, en una corriente de agua recuperada y un residuo pobre en agua; y mezclar entre sí el residuo pobre en agua y al menos parte de uno o más subdesbordamientos parcialmente deshidratados para producir un residuo de relaves deshidratado o un residuo de relaves apilable.
