Abstract
La divulgación proporciona un método para generar un pez, crustáceo o molusco estéril de sexo determinado. El método comprende la cría de (i) un pez, crustáceo o molusco hembra fértil con mutación homocigótica que tiene al menos una primera mutación y una segunda mutación con (ii) un pez, crustáceo o molusco macho fértil con mutación homocigótica que tiene al menos la primera mutación y la segunda mutación para producir el pez, crustáceo o molusco estéril de sexo determinado. La primera mutación interrumpe uno o más genes que especifican la diferenciación sexual, la segunda mutación interrumpe uno o más genes que especifican la función de los gametos, y se ha rescatado la fertilidad del pez, crustáceo o molusco hembra fértil homocigoto y del pez, crustáceo o molusco macho fértil homocigoto mutado.
