Abstract

Aquí se proporciona un método para purificar un material orgánico reciclado o renovable, en donde el material orgánico reciclado o renovable comprende una o más impurezas seleccionadas de un grupo que consiste de compuestos de silicio, fósforo, Cl y esteroles, que comprende los pasos de (a) proporcionar el material orgánico reciclado o renovable; (b) opcionalmente pretratar el material orgánico reciclado o renovable en una temperatura desde 180 a 325°C, y opcionalmente agregar ácido antes o después del proceso de pretratamiento térmico, y opcionalmente filtrar el material orgánico reciclado o renovable pretratado térmicamente después del pretratamiento térmico; (c) tratar térmicamente el material orgánico reciclado o renovable en desde 100 a 450°C, opcionalmente en la presencia de un adsorbente, opcionalmente agregar agua antes o durante el proceso de tratamiento térmico y opcionalmente agregar ácido antes o después del proceso de tratamiento térmico, y opcionalmente, filtrar el material orgánico reciclado o renovable tratado térmicamente después del tratamiento térmico; (d) opcionalmente evaporar compuestos de silicio volátiles de los compuestos de material orgánico reciclado o renovable tratados térmicamente, con ello reducir el contenido de silicio del material orgánico reciclado o renovable tratado térmicamente; (e) opcionalmente craquear térmicamente el material orgánico reciclado o renovable, con ello reducir el contenido de oxígeno y fósforo del material orgánico reciclado o renovable tratado térmicamente, y opcionalmente eliminar los compuestos volátiles del material orgánico reciclado o renovable craqueado térmicamente, y opcionalmente eliminar sólidos/precipitados del material orgánico reciclado o renovable; y (f) hidrotratar el material orgánico reciclado o renovable tratado térmicamente en la presencia de un catalizador de hidrotratamiento; para obtener el material orgánico renovable o reciclado hidrotratado purificado.
