Abstract

Un amortiguador de lavado que comprende un tensioactivo para utilizarse en cromatografía de afinidad y de intercambio catiónico para purificar proteínas de interés de cúmulos de proteínas y para eliminar y/o inactivar virus. Cuando se utiliza durante la cromatografía de afinidad o de intercambio catiónico para la purificación de una proteína de interés, tal como un anticuerpo, el amortiguador de lavado mejora considerablemente la eliminación vírica de la preparación, mientras que también disminuye el nivel de proteínas de células hospedadoras y cúmulos de proteínas. Luego de la cromatografía de afinidad o de intercambio catiónico con el amortiguador de lavado, es posible modificar adicionalmente la proteína de interés con otras operaciones de cromatografía y filtrado.
