Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a métodos y a composiciones para identificar, seleccionar y/o producir una planta o germoplasma que tiene una mayor tolerancia a la sequía en las raíces y/o un mayor rendimiento en condiciones sin sequías en comparación con una planta de control. También se proporciona una planta de maíz, parte de la misma y/o germoplasma, incluida cualquier progenie y/o semillas derivadas de una planta de maíz o germoplasma identificado, seleccionado y/o producido por cualquiera de los métodos de la presente invención.
