Abstract
Se divulga un cultivar de papa designado W8. La presente se relaciona con tubérculos de papa del cultivar W8, con las semillas del cultivar de papa W8, con las plantas del cultivar de papa W8, con partes de las plantas del cultivar de papa W8, con alimentos producidos a partir del cultivar de papa W8, y con métodos para producir una planta de papa mediante el cruzamiento del cultivar de papa W8 consigo mismo o con otra variedad de papa. También se relaciona con métodos para producir una planta de papa que contiene en su material genético uno o más transgenes y las plantas de papa transgénicas y partes de dichas plantas contenidas en dichos métodos. También se relaciona con cultivares de papa y la obtención de cultivares y partes de plantas derivadas de la variedad de papa W8, con métodos para producir otros cultivares de papa, líneas o partes, derivadas del uso de dichos métodos. También se relaciona con tubérculos, semillas, plantas y partes de plantas híbridos obtenidos por el cruzamiento del cultivar de papa W8 con otro cultivar de papa.
