Abstract
La invención describe una banda transportadora (10) de tipo cerrado, que comprende una pluralidad de placas de transporte (50), definiendo una superficie de transporte para el material en un tramo de ida de la propia cinta transportadora, cuyas placas están dispuestas en secuencia a lo largo de una dirección de transporte longitudinal (L), en la que cada placa soporta una primera (55) y una segunda (56) porción de extremo longitudinal en el mismo, en dicho tramo de ida, se superpone respectivamente sobre una placa adyacente dispuesta hacia arriba de la secuencia con respecto a la dirección longitudinal de transporte y colocada debajo de una placa adyacente dispuesta hacia abajo en dicha secuencia, o viceversa; y una estructura anular (51) para conectar dichas placas dispuestas, en dicho tramo de ida, por debajo de dichas placas, en donde al menos una de dichas placas, en dicha primera o segunda parte longitudinal de la superposición o colocación debajo de una placa adyacente, tiene una sección transversal con espesor (s) disminuida con respecto a una parte restante de la propia placa.
