Abstract
La tecnología actual se dirige a un pigmento de delafosita de aluminio y cobre sustituido con hierro, así como una versión de galato del mismo; en particular, los materiales pueden definirse como delafosita de aluminio de cobre sustituida con hierro, CuFexAl1-xO2 y el galato, CuFexGa1-xO2 en donde X=0.01 a 1.00, por ejemplo CuFe0.15AI0.85O2, y CuFe0.15Ga0.85O2; los pigmentos son marrón oscuro a negro, absorben la mayor luz en el espectro visible, pero tiene baja absorbancia y alta reflectancia en la región del infrarrojo cercano, especialmente luz de aproximadamente 700 nm - 2500 nm.
