Un dispositivo (1) de verificación de la información de la periferia del vehículo comprende: una unidad (20) de detección de obstáculos configurada para detectar un obstáculo; una unidad (41) de disposición configurada para disponer una región desplazable en la cual un vehículo es capaz de desplazarse y el obstáculo detectado en un mapa; una unidad (43) de determinación de acción configurada para determinar una acción de un vehículo principal utilizando la información sobre el obstáculo dispuesto; una unidad (42) de juicio configurada para juzgar si el obstáculo dispuesto está dispuesto en la región desplazable; y una unidad (44) de prohibición configurada para prohibir a la unidad (43) de determinación de acción determinar la acción del vehículo principal cuando se determina que el obstáculo no está dispuesto en la región desplazable.
