Abstract

Un capacitor autorregenerante comprende un primer electrodo, un segundo electrodo y una capa dieléctrica dispuesta entre dichos primer y segundo electrodos y que tiene la primera superficie orientada hacia el primer electrodo y la segunda superficie orientada hacia el segundo electrodo. Al menos uno de los electrodos puede incluir espuma metálica. Dicha capa dieléctrica puede tener canales conductores de la electricidad, los cuales, cada uno tiene un punto de salida situado sobre la primera superficie de la capa dieléctrica y otro punto de salida situado sobre la segunda superficie de la capa dieléctrica. Los electrodos pueden incluir interruptores de contacto locales, cada uno de los cuales se encuentra dentro del electrodo en una interfaz entre el electrodo y la capa dieléctrica y enfrente de al menos un punto de salida de cada canal conductor de electricidad en la capa dieléctrica.
