Abstract

Un contenedor (1) que comprende paredes laterales (3), una primera parte base con una placa de base plana, una segunda base (10) con costillas que se sueldan a la primera base. De acuerdo con la presente invención, el contenedor (1) tiene en las paredes laterales una extensión (5) que se extiende paralela a la pared lateral (3) en dirección de la base del contenedor hasta por encima de la primera base y las uniones de soldadura entre la primera y la segunda base (10) también. La extensión (5) tiene en una modalidad costillas (6) con cantos de extremo horizontales que corren paralelos al borde (4) de la pared lateral (3), dichos cantos de extremo corren a un nivel por debajo de la primera base. En un apilamiento del contenedor (1), los cantos extremos de las costillas (6) yacen en el borde de la pared lateral (3), en donde un cordón en las uniones de soldadura se encuentra en un espacio libre y no yacen en el borde. Con esto es posible un apilamiento preciso, sin que las uniones de soldadura tengan que ser modificadas.
