Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una enzima xilanasa GH10 modificada o un fragmento de esta que tiene actividad xilanasa, en donde esa xilanasa GH10 modificada o el fragmento de esta tiene una mayor termoestabilidad en comparación con una enzima xilanasa GH10 parental; la xilanasa GH10 parental se modificó en al menos dos posiciones siguientes 7, 33, 79, 217 y 298, en donde la numeración está basada en la numeración de aminoácidos de FveXyn4 (sec. con núm. de ident. 1). Particularmente, la enzima xilanasa modificada de conformidad con la presente invención tiene las modificaciones siguientes: N7D; T33V; K79Y, V, F, I, L o M (preferentemente, K79Y, F o V, con mayor preferencia, Y); A217Q, E, P, D o M (preferentemente, A217Q, E o P, con mayor preferencia, Q); y T298Y, F o W (preferentemente, Y o F, con mayor preferencia, Y).
