Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición catalítica útil para la conversión de una olefina seleccionada del grupo que consiste de propileno, isobutileno o mezclas de los mismos, a acrilonitrilo, metacrilonitrilo, y mezclas de los mismos. La composición catalítica comprende un complejo de óxidos de metal que comprende bismuto, molibdeno, hierro, cerio y otros elementos promotores, en donde el patrón de difracción de rayos X de la composición catalítica tiene picos de difracción de rayos X a ángulo 2? 28 -0.3 grados y ángulo 2? 26.5 +0.3 grados, y en donde la relación de la intensidad del pico de difracción de rayos X más intenso dentro del ángulo 2? 28 -0.3 grados a la intensidad del pico de difracción de rayos X más intenso dentro del ángulo 2? 26.5 +0.3 grados se define como X/Y, y en donde X/Y es mayor que o igual a 0.7.
