Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a ciertos derivados de {2-(alquil)-3-[2-(5-fluoro-4-pirimidinil)hidrazino]-3-oxopropil}h idroxiformamida, a composiciones que los contienen y al uso de dichos compuestos en la inhibición de la actividad péptido desformilasa bacteriana (PDF) y en el tratamiento de infecciones bacterianas. Específicamente, la invención se refiere a compuestos de fórmula (I): (ver fórmula (I)) en la que R1, R2 y R3 se definen en la presente memoria y a sales farmacéuticamente aceptables de los mismos. Los compuestos de esta invención son inhibidores de péptido desformilasa bacteriana y pueden ser útiles en el tratamiento de infecciones bacterianas.
