Abstract
Un controlador (100) de flujo de gas protector para un aparato de soldadura de arco eléctrico para su inserción en una línea de suministro de gas protector entre una fuente (200) de gas protector y una válvula (800) de gas protector del aparato de soldadura de arco eléctrico, el controlador de flujo tiene una entrada de gas (200) protector y una salida (600) de gas protector, una válvula (110) de gas controlable conectada entre la entrada de gas protector y las salidas de gas protector y tiene una entrada (170) de control, y un medio controlador que tiene una primera entrada (400) para recibir una señal de soldadura que representa una corriente (900) de arco eléctrico de soldadura del aparato de soldadura durante una operación de soldadura, y un medio (300) de control de ajuste de flujo de gas adaptado para generar una salida de ajuste de flujo que es una función de la señal de soldadura y que representa un flujo de gas protector deseado. El controlador de flujo de gas protector además comprende un sensor (120) de presión de entrada conectado a la entrada de gas protector y dispuesto para proporcionar una medida (150) de presión de entrada de gas protector a una segunda entrada del medio controlador, y un sensor (140) de presión de salida conectado a la salida de gas protector y dispuesto para proporcionar una medida de presión de salida de gas protector a una tercera entrada (160) del medio controlador, y un medio de modificación de salida de ajuste de flujo adaptado para modificar la salida de ajuste de flujo del medio de control de ajuste de flujo de gas basado en las medidas de presión de entrada y de salida de gas protector, la señal de soldadura y una característica de la válvula controlable en una señal (170) de control para su entrada en la entrada de control de la válvula controlable de gas para mantener durante la operación de soldadura un flujo de gas protector sustancialmente constante en la línea de suministro de gas protector al aparato de soldadura que corresponde con la salida de ajuste de flujo sustancialmente independiente de las presiones de entrada y salida de gas protector reales en la entrada y salidas del gas protector, respectivamente.
