Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un método para producir una estructura de espuma de poliuretano hidrofílica que contiene una sal de plata, seleccionada del grupo de sulfato de plata, citrato de plata, acetato de plata, carbonato de plata, lactato de plata y fosfato de plata, o una mezcla de estas sales. El método comprende los pasos de (a) proporcionar una fase de agua que contiene un surfactante, y cuando menos una sal de plata, en donde la cuando menos una sal de plata se disperse en la fase de agua; (b) proporcionar un poliéter terminado en isocianato que tiene funcionalidad de más de (2); (c) mezclar la fase de agua y el poliéter terminado en isocianato, transferir inmediatamente la mezcla resultante a un molde mediante lo cual se obtiene una estructura de espuma; y (d) secar la estructura de espuma hasta que tiene un contenido de humedad de cuando mucho 10% (peso). La invención también proporciona una estructura de espuma de poliuretano hidrofílico producida mediante el método y un vendaje de herida que contiene la estructura de espuma.
