Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con una herramienta (20) de clinchado para establecer una unión con capacidad de carga, resistente o estable de una primera pieza (11) de trabajo metálica con una segunda pieza (12) de trabajo metálica. La herramienta (20) de clinchado comprende un troquel (20) y una herramienta (30) complementaria que forman juntos y juntan una unión (13) clinchado uniendo, o uniendo permanentemente, la primera pieza (11) de trabajo metálica con la segunda pieza (12) de trabajo metálica mediante una deformación plástica o cambio de forma locales. El troquel (20) tiene un flanco (25) de troquel concéntrico respecto a su eje (24) de rotación. El flanco (25) tiene una cara (23) frontal de extremo perpendicular respecto al eje (24) de rotación. El flanco (25) tiene un contorno cónico al menos en la zona (21) de transición inferior a la cara (23) frontal del extremo y tiene un ángulo de flanco (W, W1, W2) que es menor o igual a 10 grados, preferentemente menor o igual a 5 grados.
